The day after we had our “Dinner at the Bridge” we decided to do another one of our favorite activities in the summer. Tim woke up early to do a Century ride with Watts Cycling. The event begins and ends at the Watts store in Starfield Mall, Hanam Korea. A few hours after Tim took off, the rest of us loaded up the car with food, tent, and extra clothes and headed to the splash park just around the corner from Starfield Mall. We set up our tent and settled in just as dad was getting back from his ride.

We spent most of the day splashing around trying to stay cool. Baby L even got a little time to cool off in the water.

After a few hours we rinsed off, changed, and loaded everything in the car before walking over to the mall to cool off and have dinner. Afterwards the kids and I drove back home while Tim got in a few extra km biking for the day.

It would have been much easier for me to stay home while Tim did his ride, letting the boys play with toys, and just caring for Baby L, who we had only had one week (she was 2 months old). However it was more fun and more memorable to take the boys out and enjoy the hot Korean summer before school began again in a few weeks.
