As a former NCAA swimmer, avid triathlete, and now swim coach with 10+ years of experience, I have a passion for swim technique.  When it comes to swimming there is very little time that you can “buy”.  On the other hand, just like in cycling there is a lot of time to be saved (arguably more) without necessarily increasing effort (power output).  I know first hand the importance of visual and verbal feedback when it comes to swim technique.

Private Full Video Analysis

($100 USD suggested donation)

Private Quick Swim Analysis

($20 USD suggested donation)

  • Send me a video clip of you swimming (30-60 sec in length)

  • I will send you a short video analysis back (typically within 48hrs)

  • I jump straight to the major recommendation

  • Great for the athlete that prefers to work on 1-2 things at a time.

  • Good for a checkup a month or 2 after getting a full analysis

Filming Suggestions and Video Tips:

  • I only need 10-15sec of each angle (4-5 stroke cycles.)

  • Please do not send me large files.

  • Swim the stroke at your realistic mid race speed.

  • Try to get film in the middle to end of your swim workout when you are not necessarily fresh. Suggestion: swim a 200 and have the “filmer” film you during the second 100.

Suggested Film angels

  • Side view (with breathing towards the camera) Full body in Frame.

  • Font view (Head on traveling toward the camera) Feel free to practice an open water 'sighting' that I can analyze.

  • Underwater side view (Optional if you have the ability).
